1. Then I saw another portent in heaven, great and amazing: seven angels with seven plagues, which are the last, for with them the wrath of God is ended.

2. And I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands.

3. And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb: “Great and amazing are your deeds, Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, King of the nations!

4. Lord, who will not fear and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your judgments have been revealed.”

5. After this I looked, and the temple of the tent of witness in heaven was opened,

6. and out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues, robed in pure bright linen, with golden sashes across their chests.

7. Then one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever;

8. and the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were ended.

1. आकाश में फिर मैंने एक और महान एवम् अदभुत चिन्ह देखा। मैंने देखा कि सात दूत हैं जो सात अंतिम महाविनाशों को लिए हुए हैं। ये अंतिम विनाश हैं क्योंकि इनके साथ परमेश्वर का कोप भी समाप्त हो जाता है।

2. फिर मुझे काँच का एक सागर सा दिखायी दिया जिसमें मानो आग मिली हो। और मैंने देखा कि उन्होंने उस पशु की मूर्ति पर तथा उसके नाम से सम्बन्धित संख्या पर विजय पा ली है, वे भी उस काँच के सागर पर खड़े हैं। उन्होंने परमेश्वर के द्वारा दी गयी वीणाएँ ली हुई थीं।

3. वे परमेश्वर के सेवक मूसा और मेमने का यह गीत गा रहे थे: “वे कर्म जिन्हें तू करता रहता, महान हैं। तेरे कर्म अदभुत, तेरी शक्ति अनन्त है, हे प्रभु परमेश्वर, तेरे मार्ग सच्चे और धार्मिकता से भरे हुए हैं, सभी जातियों का राजा,

4. हे प्रभु, तुझसे सब लोग सदा भयभीत रहेंगे। तेरा नाम लेकर सब जन स्तुति करेंगे, क्योंकि तू मात्र ही पवित्र है। सभी जातियाँ तेरे सम्मुख उपस्थित हुई तेरी उपासना करें। क्योंकि तेरे कार्य प्रकट हैं, हे प्रभु तू जो करता वही न्याय है।”

5. इसके पश्चात् मैंने देखा कि स्वर्ग के मन्दिर अर्थात् वाचा के तम्बू को खोला गया

6. और वे सातों दूत जिनके पास अंतिम सात विनाश थे, मन्दिर से बाहर आये। उन्होंने चमकीले स्वच्छ सन के उत्तम रेशों के बने वस्त्र पहने हुए थे। अपने सीनों पर सोने के पटके बाँधे हुए थे।

7. फिर उन चार प्राणियों में से एक ने उन सातों दूतों को सोने के कटोरे दिए जो सदा-सर्वदा के लिए अमर परमेश्वर के कोप से भरे हुए थे।

8. वह मन्दिर परमेश्वर की महिमा और उसकी शक्ति के धुएँ से भरा हुआ था ताकि जब तक उन सात दूतों के सात विनाश पूरे न हो जायें, तब तक मन्दिर में कोई भी प्रवेश न करने पाये।

1. ഞാൻ വലുതും അത്ഭുതവുമായ മറ്റൊരു അടയാളം സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ കണ്ടു; ഒടുക്കത്തെ ഏഴു ബാധയുമുള്ള ഏഴു ദൂതന്മാരെ തന്നേ; അതോടുകൂടെ ദൈവക്രോധം തീർന്നു.

2. തീ കലർന്ന പളുങ്കുകടൽ പോലെ ഒന്നും മൃഗത്തോടും അതിന്റെ പ്രതിമയോടും പേരിന്റെ സംഖ്യയോടും ജയിച്ചവർ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വീണകൾ പിടിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു പളുങ്കുകടലിന്നരികെ നില്ക്കുന്നതും ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.

3. അവർ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശെയുടെ പാട്ടും കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെ പാട്ടും പാടി ചൊല്ലിയതു: സർവ്വശക്തിയുള്ള ദൈവമായ കർത്താവേ, നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ വലുതും അത്ഭുതവുമായവ; സർവ്വജാതികളുടെയും രാജാവേ, നിന്റെ വഴികൾ നീതിയും സത്യവുമുള്ളവ:

4. കർത്താവേ, ആർ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടാതെയും മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്താതെയും ഇരിക്കും? നീയല്ലോ ഏകപരിശുദ്ധൻ; നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികൾ വിളങ്ങിവന്നതിനാൽ സകല ജാതികളും വന്നു തിരുസന്നിധിയിൽ നമസ്കരിക്കും.

5. ഇതിന്റെ ശേഷം സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലെ സാക്ഷ്യകൂടാരമായ ദൈവാലയം തുറന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.

6. ഏഴു ബാധയുള്ള ഏഴു ദൂതന്മാരും ശുദ്ധവും ശുഭ്രവുമായുള്ള ശണവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചും മാറത്തു പൊൻകച്ച കെട്ടിയും കൊണ്ടു ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുവന്നു.

7. അപ്പോൾ നാലു ജീവികളിൽ ഒന്നു എന്നെന്നേക്കും ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ക്രോധം നിറഞ്ഞ ഏഴു പൊൻകലശം ആ ഏഴു ദൂതന്മാർക്കു കൊടുത്തു.

8. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തേജസ്സും ശക്തിയും ഹേതുവായിട്ടു ദൈവാലയം പുകകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞു; ഏഴു ദൂതന്മാരുടെ ബാധ ഏഴും കഴിയുവോളം ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ കടപ്പാൻ ആർക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

46. And Mary said, ‘My soul magnifies the Lord,

47. and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour,

48. for he has looked with favour on the lowliness of his servant. Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed;

49. for the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name.

50. His mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation.

51. He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts.

52. He has brought down the powerful from their thrones, and lifted up the lowly;

53. he has filled the hungry with good things, and sent the rich away empty.

54. He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy,

55. according to the promise he made to our ancestors, to Abraham and to his descendants for ever.’

46. इस पर मरियम के वचन ये थे: “मेरा प्राण प्रभु की प्रशंसा करता है

47. और मेरी अन्तरात्मा परमेश्वर, मेरे उद्धारकर्ता में आनन्दित हुई है,

48. क्योंकि उन्होंने अपनी दासी की दीनता की ओर दृष्टि की है. अब से सभी पीढ़ियाँ मुझे धन्य कहेंगी,

49. क्योंकि सामर्थी ने मेरे लिए बड़े-बड़े काम किए हैं. पवित्र है उनका नाम.

50. उनकी दया उनके श्रद्धालुओं पर पीढ़ी से पीढ़ी तक बनी रहती है.

51. अपने भुजबल से उन्होंने प्रतापी काम किए हैं और अभिमानियों को बिखरा दिया है.

52. परमेश्वर ने राजाओं को उनके सिंहासनों से नीचे उतार दिया तथा विनम्रों को उठाया है.

53. उन्होंने भूखों को उत्तम पदार्थों से तृप्त किया तथा सम्पन्नों को खाली लौटा दिया.

54. -

55. उन्होंने अपने सेवक इस्राएल की सहायता अपनी उस करूणा के स्मरण में की, जिसकी प्रतिज्ञा उसने हमारे बाप-दादों से करी थी और जो अब्राहाम तथा उनके वंशजों पर सदा सर्वदा रहेगी”.

46. അപ്പോൾ മറിയ പറഞ്ഞതു: “എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കർത്താവിനെ മഹിമപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു;

47. എന്റെ ആത്മാവു എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിൽ ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്നു.

48. അവൻ തന്റെ ദാസിയുടെ താഴ്ച കടാക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; ഇന്നുമുതൽ എല്ലാ തലമുറകളും എന്നെ ഭാഗ്യവതി എന്നു വാഴ്ത്തും.

49. ശക്തനായവൻ എനിക്കു വലിയവ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു അവന്റെ നാമം പരിശുദ്ധം തന്നേ.

50. അവനെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവർക്കു അവന്റെ കരുണ തലമുറതലമുറയോളം ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

51. തന്റെ ഭുജംകൊണ്ടു അവൻ ബലം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു, ഹൃദയവിചാരത്തിൽ അഹങ്കരിക്കുന്നവരെ ചിതറിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

52. പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ സിംഹാസനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു ഇറക്കി താണവരെ ഉയർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

53. വിശന്നിരിക്കുന്നവരെ നന്മകളാൽ നിറെച്ചു, സമ്പന്നന്മാരെ വെറുതെ അയച്ചു കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

54. നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അബ്രാഹാമിന്നും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും എന്നേക്കും കരുണ ഓർക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു,

55. തന്റെ ദാസനായ യിസ്രായേലിനെ തുണെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.”
