MESSAGE FROM THE VICAR

Dearly beloved in Christ,

Greetings in the name of the

Father and of the Son and the

Holy Spirit, one true God.

As a Church, we are entering

into the season of Pentecost.

The Feast of Pentecost reminds

us that the Holy Spirit is a

strengthening Spirit, commis-

sioning us to bear witness to

Him in the world. It is a Spirit of

authority and a Spirit of reconciliation, convincing the world

about Sin, Righteousness, and Judgment. In June, we also

celebrate Father's Day, a time to honor the leaders, interces-

sors, and role models in our families. Let us remember the

words of Ephesians 6:4: "Fathers, do not provoke your chil-

dren to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruc-

tion of the Lord." This month, our church is also observing

'Environmental Sunday,' which highlights the importance of

God's providence for creation and our human responsibility as

stewards to protect and care for God's creation. Our Metropol-

itan, His Grace The Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Met-

ropolitan, is planning to visit our parish on June 01st. Let us

remember Metropolitan Thirumeni and our Sabha/Church in

your prayers. Children in our church are entering into summer

vacations this month. Let us pray that they may have a

healthier and safer summer and grow in the knowledge of Je-

sus Christ. This month, our parish is hosting the Yuvjana Sa-

kyam Family Camp, NER Center Edavaka/Parish mission half-

day conference, and Sunday school is hosting its academic

year-end local programs. Some of our church members are

going through various life transitions, such as bereavement,

marriage, graduation, the birth of newborn babies, and mov-

ing to new homes. May God bless our members to experience

God's providence during these transitions in their lives. I en-

courage parishioners to participate in all aspects of our church

activities prayerfully.

Glory be to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit - One true

God! Amen!

“For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct

Him? But we have the mind of Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 2:16

Long before we were conceived by our parents, we were con-

ceived in the eternal mind of God. Our existence is not the

result of fate, chance, luck, or even human confidence. It is

the outcome of divine intention. Our birth was neither a mis-

take. Our parents may have planned for us, or perhaps they

were surprised by our arrival—but God was not.

We are all a part of His mysterious and sovereign plan all along.

This is why Rick Warren rightly reminds us, “You are not an accident.” We were envi-

sioned in the divine wisdom of God. He ordained every detail of our being. Every fea-

ture, every fiber of our bodies, was deliberately designed by the Creator. God did not

merely assemble us—He sculpted us. As Psalm 139 echoes: “You know me inside and

out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,

how I was sculpted from nothing into something.”

Even the physicist Albert Einstein once remarked, “God does not play dice,” a reflec-

tion on the truth that the universe, and our place within it, is not governed by ran-

domness. Behind all things is the divine order of a God whose knowledge is infinite

and whose purposes are sure.

God has uniquely customized us according to His infinite wisdom. His knowledge is

beyond what the human mind can grasp. Since the mind of God is a holy mystery, we

cannot confine it to our limited understanding or define it within the walls of any intel-

lectual framework. His thoughts are higher, His ways are greater, and His purposes

are eternal.

So then, let us rest not in our own understanding, but in the divine assurance that we

were always in the heart and mind of God.

We are not accidents.

We are not forgotten.

We are not without purpose.

We belong to a God who saw us before time began, who shaped us with care, and

who calls us even now to walk in His ways. Let us then live with holy confidence, not

in ourselves, but in the One who made us. Let us seek the mind of Christ, and in do-

ing so, step boldly into the life He prepared for us before we even took our first

breath.
